According to Paul, being a saint was the same as being a Christian it would seem that we are all called to be saints. Its a tall order, but then the Christian Gospel is full of tall orders. You cannot become a member of the body of CHRIST without being asked to do gigantic things. We must take the saints out of their niches occasionally and remember that they were creatures of flesh and blood with human problems and human failings. They became saints not because they had no weaknesses BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE ABLE TO OVERCOME THEM.For the first thirty yrs of His life, JESUS worked in a carpenter's shop where, it is said, He increased in wisdom and found favour with GOD and Man. So do not say you cannot ever attempt to be a saint because you have to do boring work amongst difficult people. If this is so, you are in the very place for practising saintless. If you were working under ideal conditions you wouldn't be able to get in contact with unsaintliness that gives you any opportunity for being patient, loving, humble and generous. Called to be saints, says Paul, but not saints in stained glas* windows; saints in factories, shops, kitchens, offices and homes, wherever men need to know about the kingdom, and thats everywhere. 1 Corinthians 1:2.....CALLED TO BE SAINTS, WITH ALL THAT IN EVERY PLACE CALL APON THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. *

As soon as the amazing truth of redemption bursts upon the mind you have to start making arrangements for a funeral, YOUR OWN. Hehehe. The old self must die and be born again if you are to enter into the newness of life. You can be a regular churchgoer and yet unconverted in the rense of being born again to be a saint. Nine hundred and ninety nine time you may hear or read word; 'CHRIST DIED FOR YOU,' but the thousandth time it may strike home. Quit suddenly you will sit up and say, 'THIS MEANS ME.' after that you are pitchforked into a four dimensional world. You swing out into a new cycle of evolution. Everything looks different because you are seeing it in a new light from fresh angle. You have been initiated into the greatest mystery in the world. You have been born again, quickened into a new kind of life with new powers, actual and potential. It is an experience peculiar to CHRISTIANS, something that has been happening to men and women all over the world for more than two thousand years. The inexplicable phenomenon wich we call conversion, call to be a saint. *

I beleive life is about calling as much as i beleive that salvation is personal and about calling.mamy are called but a few are chosen. *
