Glad indeed are the souls with whom JESUS walk. Walking with Him is security. The coming of His Spirit into a man, and its workin are imperceptible, but the result is mighty. Lets Learn of Him and Kill the SELF, Every blow to self is used to shape the real, eternal, imperishable you and me. We have to Be very candid and rigorous with ourselves. did self promt that? and if it did, we got to oust it at all costs. When JESUS died on the CROSS, HE died embodying all the human self. Once after that was crucified, He conquered even death.
When He bore our sins in His body on the tree, He bore the self-human nature of the world. If we too can kill SELF, we will gain the overwhelming power He released for this weary world, and we too will be victorious. IT IS NOT LIFE AND ITS DIFFICULTIES WE HAVE TO CONQUER, ONLY THE SELF IN US. AS JESUS said to His disciples, I have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. We could understand them, but as we go on obeying Him and walking with Him and listen to Him, we will, and then see how glorious, how marvellous His revelations are, and His teachings. Amen *
